The kitchen is soul of this place both literaly and physicaly. We were in the old place couple of years ago so we know Nico and Lilly put their heart in everything they do. In this place they decied for an open view to the kitchen and it is for the best. We had mussels, the red onion soup, sea food pasta and spagetti with tuna and Red onion. We did not wait one minute extra during the whole dinner. Service was Fast and quiet just as we like it. For white wine feel safe to choose the bottle made for restaurant at reasonable €13.

With my gluten issues, they really paid attention with cross-contamination. They have gluten-free options and plates can be adapted.

I ordered the catch of the day, and it was just as good as I hoped—fresh and full of flavor. The staff were super friendly and made the experience even better. The only thing missing was some background music to set the mood. Otherwise, everything was spot on!

Outside the crowded center of Tropea there is this incredible restaurant. The place is all but astonishing (a simple house courtyard), nonetheless, the overall result is truly cozy. The service is fast and caring. The food is simply incredible, all seafood (with few exceptions) is fresh and local. A wonderful discovery!

Had a horrible fishy smell from the shrimp, told him I couldn’t eat it. Then he brought back a spaghetti with the same shrimp and not fresh truffles. I didn’t even take a photo I was so disgusted. Beware if this place.

Caro utente la cosa bella di quelli come lei è che fa migliaia di foto coincidenza manca la foto con il piatto che ha contestato(forse paura di far vedere il nostro gamberoni fresco? La pasta era tartufo e tartare di gambero per nostro errore abbiamo fatto pistacchio e tartare di gambero , lei ha detto di lasciarla sul tavolo e preparare un altra pasta con il tartufo,si è dimenticato di dire che ne frattempo ha messo un bel po DI FORMAGGIO PARMIGIANO SUL GAMBERO CRUDO QUESTO FA CAPIRE LA SUA GRANDE CULTURA CULINARIA ,POI HA CONTESTATO IL GAMBERO CHE IO PRONTAMENTE HO MANDATO A TAVOLO ANCORA DA PREPARARE PER FARLE CAPIRE LA FRESCHEZZA DEI PRODOTTI CHE USIAMO ,non sono così stupido da fare una tartare di gambero con gambero non fresco,poi ha detto se nella seconda pasta il gambero poteva essere cotto ,quindi il problema non era il gambero non buono ma che lei nn mangia pesce crudo e ci può stare ma basta dirlo non infangare il nome di chi lavora . Quindi la questione è una lei prima ordina poi non vuole pagare le cose costose il gambero rosso costa 55€ al kg e il tartufo nero 480€ al kg . Si è dimenticato di dire che abbiamo conteggiato solo 1 porzione di pasta per evitare di fare polemica ,ma gente come lei è così ignorante che il motivo per fare polemica lo trova lo stesso. Such an incredible experience!!!! Hands down the best meal my partner and I had in Tropea. We were saying I earlier in the day that we felt underwhelmed by the food in Tropea, until we had this meal. The service and transformation of the traditional Calabrian ingredients was perfect. Every dish was beautiful and delectable and I can’t recommend it enough. This restaurant is absolutely phenomenal! Tropea is very proud of their onions, and da Nico e Lilly really transforms that onion into something greater. This was my favorite dinner in Tropea.

It exceeded all the expectations!! The staff is very nice, friendly and polite. The food was all we were dreaming of. Amazing fish and fresh seafood. The wine was wonderful. Beautiful location hidden couple steps away of all the buzz. The bill surprised very much as for what we get elswhere you would pay double. Highly recommended! Very good restaurant. Quiet and intimate environment (in outside garden). Good quality food at reasonable price. It is not cheap - we had 3 course meal for 2 with wine for €90; but if you compare the same meal to the equivalent average place in old town, it's only a difference on 20%. The best I've tried in Tropea.
Really nice restaurant in Tropea. Delicious food and reasonable prices. Highly recommend it!
